James J. and Catherine Webb are my great grandparents. When Catherine’s mother died she was 12 years old. Her stepfather couldn’t care for her. So, she went to live with neighbors and cleaned house for her lodging. She grew up with the youngest son, James J. Webb. They were born on the same day and year. They were married at 18. They had 6 children. My grandmother was their oldest child, Lillie Alberta Webb. She married James Cleveland Rudd at 21 and they had 6 children. Stella Ivalee Rudd, my mother. My mother had 6 children. I am Lorri (Hill) Rush. Thank you for keeping and posting this website. My uncle was J.C. Rudd, junior. He helped with starting the Welcome Center across the road from the Myers Cemetery. Thank you again!!!
